Last-mile delivery
Express Courier delivery van systems
A complete load compartment setup for parcel, mail and courier routes: bulkhead with sliding door, shelving, flooring, lining and lighting, built around the movements a driver repeats a hundred times a day
What Express Courier is

Express Courier is GEMA’s vehicle equipment system for last-mile and courier operations. It helps delivery professionals access, organise and handle goods more efficiently inside the load compartment.
The system combines a bulkhead with a sliding door, shelving, flooring, lining and lighting into one practical setup. The operator moves between cabin and load area without walking around the vehicle, and the goods stay organised and protected along the route.
Key Benefits
Designed to support professional vehicle setups in everyday use.
Safety
The bulkhead separates driver and load, and removes unnecessary movements around the vehicleSpeed
Goods stay visible, structured and within reach, so each stop takes less timeEfficiency
Less handling per stop, and less weight carried over the whole routeWorkflow
A loading pattern that holds up across a full round, not just the first hourAccess
A clear passage between cabin and load compartmentThe delivery workflow
Express Courier is designed around the movements a delivery route repeats: access, picking, unloading and returning
1
Access from the cabin
The operator reaches the load compartment through the bulkhead sliding door, without stepping outside.
2
Organised loading
Shelving and cargo zones keep goods visible and structured, so picking follows the route rather than the load.
3
Secure movement
The setup supports safe movement between cabin and load area, with fewer unnecessary steps.
4
Picking & unloading
Goods are positioned for practical access during repeated stops.
4
Return to route
After each stop the operator continues with the same order restored.
System Components
Storage, protection, access and carrying, developed as one setup
Bulkhead with sliding door
A partition that separates driver and load, with a sliding door that gives direct access from the cabin. Fully black anodised, and one key operates both the door and the external padlocks
Shelving system
Storage and loading structures that keep goods organised during delivery operations, folding away on gas springs when not needed
Load compartment floor
12 mm Finnish birch phenolic plywood, washable, with an anti-slip resin layer and a patented joining system
Interior lining
Pre-shaped polypropylene honeycomb panels that protect against impact, noise and heat, without changing the vehicle’s tare weight
Lighting and motion sensor
Lighting that supports visibility inside the load compartment during delivery work
Locking and security
Components that protect cabin, cargo and vehicle equipment
Cargo organisation
Practical elements that keep goods accessible and structured throughout the route
Configurations
Express Courier adapts to the vehicle size and to what the work requires
Medium vans
Efficient configurations for delivery vehicles where access, loading and usable space have to stay balanced
Large vans
Extended setups for higher-volume delivery operations and larger load compartments
Route-specific setups
Configurations adapted around delivery flow, cargo type and operational requirements
